Collaborative Authorship

Collaborative Authorship: Professional publications, often, are said to be a collaborative effort. A quick review of articles published, e.g., in Academic Exchange Quarterly demonstrates that collaboration is the norm.
  • In the USA such collaboration, frequently results from scientific need.
  • By contrast, many e.g., educators from Latin America, Africa, or eastern Europe seek collaboration for economic reasons. Often, a collaboration with an American partner may be the only way to gain access to expensive professional journals or to gain access to sophisticated equipment.
To this effect, RIG aims to create linkages between American educators and the one in Latin America, Africa, or eastern Europe. Once you identify such a need, please contact RIG.
