I've been having some troubles removing my name from tracked changes ever since I upgraded to Windows XP and Office XP, as Windows would override my Office settings and insert my name onto everything I typed or edited. I figured out how to fix this... Here's how to ensure a reviewer's or author's personal info doesn't slip through on the saved file: 1) Click Tools 2) Click Options 3) Select the Security tab 4) At the bottom, there is a Privacy section 5) In the privacy section, select the check box titled "Remove personal information from this file on save." |
